The Law of Attraction: A Biblical Principle- Terminology

Before we dive into the meat and potatoes of the Law of Attraction and biblical principle, let's first lay out the basic terminology that will be used. On several occasions, during conversations with others, I have been asked to explain or define what I meant by several things. And that is perfectly o.k. By clearly defining the meaning of the terms that will be used, I am ensuring that we are all on the same page with understanding what is being written.

Also, be sure to watch the video at the end of the post, as we will discuss some of it throughout this series.

The use of reason to analyze human nature and deduce binding rules of moral behavior; A view that certain rights or values are inherent in or universally cognizable by virtue of human reason or human nature. Everything is necessary for the scheme of things and cannot be altered or ended.

What are the Universal Laws
No one knows for sure the exact number of Universal Laws there are. You can search for them on the internet, but here are a few to get you started, that you may or may not have heard of already:

Law of Vibration
Everything in the Universe moves and vibrates - everything is vibrating at one speed or another. Nothing rests. Everything you see around you is vibrating at one frequency or another and so are you

Law of Abundance
The universe is filled with abundance, of everything you can imagine. Abundance is everywhere and is unlimited.

Law of Cause and Effect
Whatever you send into the universe comes back; action (cause) reaction (effect)

Law of Polarity
Everything has an opposite (good vs bad; up vs down, etc)

Law of Attraction
You attract whatever it is that you think and have feel strongly about, whether it is good or bad.

The Law of Attraction has become the most popular and most talked about universal law since the release of the book and movie, The Secret, back in 2006. Since that time, there have been countless books, cds and dvds on the market, all explaining this phenomenon that took the country by storm. The movie and book has been featured on shows such as Oprah, Larry King and others.

But as you will learn, this principle is not something that just popped up in 2006, but in fact, has been around since the beginning of time.

If you have not seen the movie, click on the video below to watch the first 20 minutes of it, as we will be discussing this throughout this series.
