I've also completed the book, The Purpose-driven Life, by Pastor Rick Warren. Let me just say this, if you not have read this book, you are missing out on some awesome revelations. If you've ever wanted to know the purpose of your life, then read this book. It will take you on an 40-day journey that is sure to change your life.
There is a section of the book where Pastor Warren explains that we are all shaped for God's purpose in our lives and he explained how:
S- Spiritual Gifts
H- Hearts
A- Abilities
P- Personality
E- Experiences
Collectively, each of these make us who we are and they equip us for the purpose-driven life. Our hearts should be filled with love and passion for our fellow man. Our abilities are the things that just come natural to us or we have trained to do. Either way, we are able to do them. Personality is the quality of our character that makes us who we are. And the combination of our life experiences have taught us many lessons. Now we just have to realize them and use them to our advantage of doing God's will for our life.
See, I told you that book is chalked full of good information. When I thought about each one of them as they pertained to me, I can very well see how I have the passion for my calling to fulfill. I've said countless times before that each of us was born with a unique gift that God wants us to use for His glory and I am going to use mine just as He desires for me to.
During this time of consecration, God directed and instructed me to relocate to another part of the country. I have committed my life to living for His purpose for my life and not my own. So, at the end of this month, I will move to the west coast and began serving as I was instructed to do. I just love how amazing God is, how much He loves and cares for each of us, if we just let Him by opening our hearts to receive Him.
I AM Living the Father's Blessing!
