30-Day Gratitude Journal- Day 19

I am so glad that I am now in a place of more awareness. Not only concerning me, but also of things and others around me. And as a result of that, I am even more convinced that misery loves company. But I am not going to dwell on that.  Instead I'll just do what I already know to do and then keep it moving. And by the way, the nature or the length of the relationship with toxic people cannot be a factor that determines whether or not these people are cut off.

But this post and this series is about being grateful

for all of the positive people and things that I DO have in my life and that occur in my life on a daily basis. And since that is what it is, here are the things that I am grateful for on this day:

1) Having the courage to walk away from toxic people. One thing I will not continue to allow in my life, is to be around folks who drain me mentally or emotionally. I am thankful for those who are a positive force of nature.

2) Arriving safely back in Atlanta. It was a smooth ride; no mechanical problems, no traffic tickets, etc.

3) Arriving back early enough so that we could attend my niece's 4th birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. It was great watching the babies enjoy themselves, even though some of them were scared of Chuck E.....smile

4) Another opportunity to work on a new project.

5) For peace and harmony remaining major factors in my life. I cannot control the actions and moods of others, but I can control mine.
