30-Day Gratitude Journal- Day 8: Happy Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to ME

Today I celebrate my birth; 45 years of fabulous living. So, in honor of this celebration and since today is  June 8th (me and the #8), my gratitude journal will consist of 8 things that I am grateful for, instead of the daily 5. These are all things that I am soooo grateful/thankful for that have occurred in my life since my  birthday one year ago.

1). For becoming the CEO of me (more about this to come in another post).

2). For the reinventing process that I went through, that propelled me to the next level in my life. That process was very necessary for me.

3). For the setbacks that I experienced because they caused me to grow in faith, wisdom, patience, grace and forgiveness.

4). For lessons that I've learned through being more conscioous and aware of who I am and for clarity on exactly what I want. I was never 100% sure of any of this, until this past year. The vision was revealed at the appointed time.

5). For making the decision to make the 'Big Chop" and letting my hair return to its natural state.

6). For the love and support of family and friends. Although they don't understand, and I really didn't expect for them too, they continue to support me because they know that I am very serious about walking in my destiny.

7). For the ability to expand my heart that it is open to give and receive love. I can say without hesitation or reservations, that I love everyone and that there is absolutely no ill-will or unforgiveness in my heart towards anyone. God is love, and since He dwells within me, I am an expansion of His love, therefore I am love and I walk in it everyday.

8). For the courage and willingness to 'Walk on Water', even when there were times that I had some "Peter moments". But my faith continues to sustain me and keeps me focused on what I am here to do.

For all of these things, and many, many more, I am ever grateful to the Father for granting me the completion of another year and the beginning of a new one. Because I have learned so much about myself this past year, I have dubbed it My Year of Consciousness. It was definitely a year of regeneration and the resurrection of dreams and visions. And through it all, every tear, every smile, every idea, every adjustment, every goodbye, every hello, every setback, every setup, every loss, every gain, every experience, I can truly say that it was well worth it and I wouldn't change a thing.

Now, I am entering the next phase of my life and now that I have been resurrected and regenerated, opened to experience love in all aspects, and ready for what lies ahead, I have dubbed this upcoming year, My Year of Fulfillment, because this year, I walk the path that fulfills my heart's desire, with every step that I take.
