Seed, Time, Harvest

Ecclesiastes 3 (King James Version of Holy Bible)

1: To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

2: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

There is a time for everything. The Bible tells us that there is a season and time to every purpose. So, with everything there is a season of seed, time, then harvest.

As with any seed planted, there is a time delay, so, you may not see anything right away. That seed is growing and developing beneath the surface. The natural process for a seed to grow is to grow downward before it sprouts upward. It has to be rooted and grounded in the soil that it can become all that it was created to be.

So, if you find that things seem to be going in the opposite direction of what you are believing for, know that some things have to take root, so that you will be strong enough for the harvest. The key is to hold fast to faith, even when you don't see a harvest right away. Keep believing in the harvest that you desire to manifest.

Delay is not denial.This time delay is necessary, not only for the development of the seed, but also a time for your own development. It is a time necessary for you to prepare for the harvest that will come from that seed that you planted. So, use that TIME to maximize your own development by gathering information, feeding your mind with positivity, learning a new skill or developing your talent. Continue to nurture your vision every day, by doing SOMETHIING towards what you want to see manifested.

Faith without works is dead (James 2).

So make an effort to work towards your vision each and every day if possible. With a vision as large as the one you have, there is much to be done because to whom much is given, much is required.

Hold fast to your vision. The Bible tells us that you shall reap if you faint not (Galatians 6:9).

You must remain steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the LORD (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Over time, you will begin to see signs of manifestation, a sprout here, a bulb there. That is God’s way of showing us that our vision is coming to life and in due season, we shall reap if we faint not.

As we are going through the seed, time and harvest phase, God is allowing us to go through a maturation phase as well. We have to grow and mature in the things of God. He cannot give us everything that we envision right now, if we are not in position or prepared for it because that will literally blow our mind.

Think about this for a moment: If God gave us everything that we wanted, right when we wanted it, that would be like you giving $1,000,000 (a large gift) to your young child, who is not mature enough to handle such a gift. There has to be a time delay because that child has to mature and develop over time, in order to be mature enough for such a gift. Well it is the same with God and His children. He is giving us the time to mature and elevate our minds and our hearts so that when we receive our harvest, we have grown to the level necessary to operate on that level and to sustain that gift. Father knows best!

So plant the seed, water it, nurture it and then use that delay time as time for you to mature as your seed is growing. Trust GOD for His perfect timing to bring your vision to manifested harvest.

Don’t pluck up what you have planted. Don’t let the weeds of doubt, unbelief, lack and impatience destroy what you have planted. And do not allow others to pluck up your vision seed. Rid yourself of any weeds that can harm your seeds.

What is your vision seed? What are some of the things you’re doing to water and nurture your seed consistently? What are you doing to develop yourself as you are preparing for the arrival of your harvest?
