Choosing Right

Dear God, 

I pray to ask for Your forgiveness for being involved in relationships that were not ordained by You. When it comes to relationships, I know that I have made wrong choices, some based on emotions, others based on lust. But I am determined to make right choices based on spiritual connection. Therefore, I begin by choosing chastity, choosing to be connected with someone through the connection of the Holy Spirit instead of physical lust. I know that You are a forgiving God and that You are faithful and just to forgive me of my wrong doing. Thank You for hearing and granting my request.

Choosing Right

Choosing to be with someone based on physical or emotional lust can cost you something and that can be expensive in more ways than one, It can cost you your physical health, emotional well-being, spiritual relationship and mental health. Who wants to go through all of that? No one really wants to, but many do.

That is why it is imperative that to wait patiently on the Lord as He prepares you and the mate that will be the perfect fit for you. God knows what He has planned for you, where you are headed, why you need to be there, how you will get there and with whom you will get there with.

There is power in being connected to the right person for purpose. While you are operating in purpose, being busy about your Father's business, you will 'run' into that person. I love to hear stories of how couple met, the ones who have connected with their partner in purpose. It is interesting to note that not one of them was just sitting around doing nothing while waiting. Instead, just the opposite as each of them were busy serving the Lord in what he called them to do.

So, as we pray this prayer, know that God has heard you and granted your request. The manifestation is on the way. You just have to keep your eyes on Him and doing what He has purposed for you to do. In doing so, you too will 'run' right into that mate that you so desire.
