Help! I Cant See My Vision- Pt II

Now that you have listed the things that you love to do and are passionate about, let's list the things that we are naturally gifted at. Each of us have some things that we are naturally gifted or talented at doing, no matter how trivial you may think they are. These are our God-given talents that we were born with. You should know what you are naturally good at doing, without any struggles.

Below is my list of natural gifts, my God-given gifts and talents:

1. Analytical thinker. I’m a natural at analyzing, breaking things down and getting to the root meaning. Sometimes this is good, sometimes not so good, because people say that I overanalyze some times. But it does come natural for me.

2. Reading- Again, I love to read and can read up to 3 novels simultaneously. I can read one for a couple of hours, put it down, pick up another one to read, put that down, then go back to the first one without missing a beat.

3. Teaching- being able to instruct and train others comes natural to me. And the age range does not matter. I have taught toddlers to the elderly.

4. Crunching numbers- Most people that I know, hate the subject of math. But calculating numbers has always been easy for me and most times, I’ve calculated the numbers in my head before one could enter them into a calculator. As a result of my ability to crunch numbers, people often seek my help with budget planning, both personally and professionally, assisting kids with their homework and other task involving calculations.

5. Organized- Yes, this is considered a natural gift. Believe it or not, everyone does not have this gift and it is very evident in their lives. Being organized is a must for me, because I hate clutter and I hate confusion and the root cause for both is being disorganized.

6. Ability to multitask- Because I am very organized, plan accordingly and set goals, I am able to do several things at once and not miss a beat.

7. The Gift of Gab- But I'm a natural at speaking with a purpose. As I mentioned before, I dont like idle chit chat and I really dont like gossiping. And for those who know me, know that I dont just call and talk on the phone for long periods of time, just because. My time is more valuable than that and the conversations that I have with others have to be more meaningful than that. However, I can sit and talk with someone for hours and hours if we're chatting about ways they can improve their lives.

So, let’s go back and look at what I love to do and what I am naturally gifted at doing. Can you see a pattern or a road map for both my vision and my purpose ? I have always had this knack for coaching, training, inspiring and motivating people. I’ve always loved seeing others develop and helping them become the best that they can be by offering my advice and opinion. I’ve found myself, more times than not, advising and coaching others in finding what is right for them. I soon discovered that my purpose was tied into my passion and that by combining the two, God’s will for my life will be manifested in more ways than I could ever imagine or think. My vision is being in tune to what women are missing in their lives and helping them to discover their purpose and passion so that they can live the life they’ve dreamed of.

You should have two lists, one for your passions and the other for you natural gifts and talents. Do you see a correlation between the two? Do you see how the two are entwined and will create your roadmap for your vision and purpose?
